Finished!

This is my completed video. It is 15 seconds long and has 20 edits.

During the crit it was raised that the 'seagull eye' sections didn't really work, mainly because there was no shot of a gull before the POV shots to identify what we were seeing from. Also the technical, roboty style didn't go with a seagull. I think that rather than being mysterious and sinister, they were a bit confusing.

Dvd Menu:

This is my menu. It only has two selectable items so there are two background layers in the photoshop files, one with a purple play chip and one with a purple Animatic chip. On top of those are the activated layers, which gives the text a black outline

Seagull Vision

For the seagull POV shots I've always intended to have an effect over the footage like a distortion or colour tint but then I though I could have a terminator style Heads Up Display kind of thing like these:

This is how I want my final video to look. I have collected the sounds effects from iMovie and made some myself (the banging is me slamming the door reversed). The sea and the gulls I will record at the beach.
